It will help open up the skin pores so the oil can flush out the excess sebum oil, dead skin cells and dirt. After a couple of minutes or more use the "clean side" of the washcloth to wipe off the dirty oil . The hemp seed oil will also moisturize during claening process . Howerver, you can still rub in a little more hemp seed oil if you desire after cleansing .
